Phoenix Zoo Day

On Martin Luther King Day the kids had the day off of school. I had made plans with my sister Rachel to go to the zoo with her kids. I woke up still not feeling great as I had the flu the week before. I took some cold medicine and decided to grin and bear it. We arrived and met my sister and kids there. We took it slow meandering and lettting the kids play and look at the animals. We got to the petting zoo, and Tanner was no where in sight. Checked the bathroom, and outer areas, still no Tanner. Rachel flagged down an employee and they called all the rangers. They got a description of Tanner and were off looking for me. After a bit, when still no Tanner, I sped around in the cart with one of the Rangers. She got a call on her radio a few minutes later and Tanner was at the front at the Ranger Station. We went over there and I was so happy and releived to see Tanner. I asked him what happened and we both were in tears trying to talk. He had gotten lost two stops before the monkeys, what a day. We stayed a bit longer and then everyone was ready to go. Thanks Rachel for hanging in there with me, good times! Lets do it again!
