I am planning on making a blog book and want to finish out the year before I do that. So, still catching up. For Halloween we went to our ward trunk or treat night and had chili and hot dogs and of course the kids got a lot of candy! We also went to a Halloween party/FHE night that weekend. My kids loved dressing up and even though the costumes are sometimes recycled through they are excited anyway. I cant beleive how fast the time goes and here it is already January! A new year begins!

Flipped!

On the way home from our fun beach trip in California in October( yes, I am behind again) we were in a very scary car accident. I was driving and had been on the freeway home for about 30 minutes or so when the trailer was swinging wide from side to side. I had no control and it all happened so fast. We flipped to the side, the suburban and the trailer. It was like a scary movie to me. We all got out, me last. I was so happy to see all of us ok and out. There were so many miracles that day. Several people held my little ones while we were trying to stay calm. I left in the ambulance with Kimball and Sammi. Kimball had glass and gravel imbedded in his knee and an abrasion on his back. Sammi's wrist was hurting, she had broken it last year. Jake got all the kids over to the hospital. His family had left California just ahead of us and back tracked to be with us and help out. We were in the hospital most of the day. Kimball had several stitches in his knee and they scrubbed it out really good. Sammi had an Xray done and she was fine. Jake's family loaded us all up and we rented a small U- haul trailer and headed home. We had to go get all our things from the trailer and suburban. Going to see the damage we realized again what a miracle it was. We have since taken care of all the insurance and gotten a new to us Suburban. I am so grateful for all the love and support we received. I love my family so much and know we were being watched out for that day.
