Lava Tubes Hike

This weekend we went to Flagstaff and camped overnight. We left on Friday afternoon and found a spot near the Lava tubes. Jake's Mom and Dad came and his brother Joel and Christina and their kids. We took the tent trailer which has really been great. I love it! We set up camp, and then sat around the campfire and told a few stories and jokes. Jake told his immortal porpoises joke which is the one he told me when we were dating and I knew then that it was true love! The next morning we had breakfast, egg burritos of course! The guys and the kids played softball in the road and then we headed out to the Lava tubes. It is very narrow going in and really rocky. It is a big cave inside that goes for about a mile long. It was dark througout so everyone had a flashlight.
When we got back we had lunch and then packed up. On the way home, we stopped at the Deer Farm. I remember going there as a kid about Sammi's age. It was before we had moved to Arizona. It was so neat to have the deer come right up and eat right out of your hand. The kids loved it and we saw reindeer and buffalo, peacocks and some other animals.
